I've been compelled for a while to help with the Rapha House down in Cambodia. I actually got a lot of encouragement from family and started getting involved about a month ago. Last night our youth group went to the Rapha headquarters down in Joplin. I met the woman in charge of it, her name is Stephanie. I was just even more compelled while I was down there. I would like to ask for your prayers in what God is telling me to do about this situation.

I'm not the only one who needs prayers. Siam, a young girl and a victim of Sex Trafficing, has been doing really well but recently she's been having some issues and she's very wounded. I'm afraid of her running back to her old life of prostitution, as many girls do.

A few months ago I started praying for a girl named Jonty. Her step-father sold her as a young girl and her mother agreed to it. She was very young when she came to the Rapha House, only 12. Bad things happened to her in slavery as a labor, and for sexual perposes. Stephanie's assistant was in Cambodia with the girls. She had brought her dauther. Jonty saw them hugging, laughing and holding hands. Even through everything her mother did for her Jonty said this: "You love your daughter don't you? My mother doesn't love me, I wish she did love me."
Jonty had been fed drugs to keep her going and the Rapha House did all they could to keep her from being hurt again. I went to the headquarters and saw Jonty's picture. She was only 17 when she climbed over the Rapha wall (meant to keep evil out) and fell, she then got very sick and died. I couldn't believe what I saw, the word's "Jonty was dead" rang through my ears all day, Siam's dead eyes haunt me. They all need your prayers, they all need hope.
Through everything many still have hope. Jonty's mother was with her when she was dying, Jonty's last words were her shouting to God for forgivness and I believe he heard her.
I believe this is a cause I could dedicate my life to and the main thing Stephanie said they need right now is the prayers.
